Αντιπροσωπεία της επιτροπής Δημόσιας Υγείας (SANT) επισκέφθηκε το Κίεβο της Ουκρανίας στις 14 και 15 Απριλίου για συνομιλίες με εκπροσώπους του Κοινοβουλίου και στελέχη του υγειονομικού κλάδου. Οι ευρωβουλευτές μπόρεσαν επίσης να γίνουν μάρτυρες του εντυπωσιακού επιπέδου περίθαλψης που έχουν λάβει οι στρατιώτες που τραυματίστηκαν στον επιθετικό πόλεμο της Ρωσίας. Στην αποστολή συμμετείχε και ο Έλληνας ευρωβουλευτής, κ Νίκος Παπανδρέου (Σοσιαλιστές).

| A Public Health Committee delegation visited Ukraine on 14 and 15 April for talks with parliament representatives and healthcare leaders. |
| The European Parliament delegation met Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk, Mykhailo Radutskyi, Chair of the Committee on Public Health, and other members of the Verkhovna Rada, as well as healthcare leaders, including Maryna Slobodnichenko, Deputy Minister of Health. MEPs also witnessed first-hand the impressive care of soldiers injured in the Russian war of aggression. Following the conclusion of the delegation, Chair Adam Jarubas (EPP, PL) said: “We are very impressed by Ukraine’s commitment to adapting its health law to comply with the EU acquis requirements. This should be appreciated even more since it is a country ravaged by war.
